We take seriously the responsibility of ownership, breeding and exhibition of the Biewer.
The American Biewer Alliance was founded in 2008 by dedicated Biewer fanciers who value their serious role as guardians of the breed, who share dedication to the breed’s progression and who actively represent the interests of responsible Biewer owners, their dogs and their progeny and are interested in promoting wider knowledge and greater appreciation of the extraordinary qualities of the Biewer breed.
At its heart, ABA’s objective is to promote in every way the improvement of the breed through education, health and research initiatives. ABA is a source of support, information, experience and advice on dog welfare, health, training and breeding.
Primary is our mutual respect, cooperation, strong support, good sportsmanship, guidance and mentorship among our members and toward our contemporaries.

ABA is dedicated to staying current on canine research and testing and presenting educational resources to it members. ABA's Membership actively pursues projects concerning the health and general welfare of the breed.

Breeder Referrals
ABA breeders are Breeders who put their dogs above all else.They carefully strive for adherance to Breed Standard, comprehensive health testing and are conciencious of the care and socialization of their dogs and puppies.
Breeder Accreditation Programs are held anually. Biewer breeders who complete the program are awarded the ABA seal of breeder excellence.
